23/24 Season Recap
Looking at the table of results below it would look like this season is more of the same, you couldn’t be more wrong. The team was much stronger this year and showed a lot of determination and resilience.
The teams initial match against Basingstoke ended 9 – 11 after 2 late goals from Basingstoke to secure the winÂ
2 days later, after being 2 goals down at half time, we came back to take the win against Southampton 13 – 12
In February, the Channel Islands team made the trip to the mainland and we played a really intense match but unfortunately lost out in the end 12 – 6
Despite coming 7th in the finishing table, the season was highlighted by a lot of close matches with one or two goals in it. Hopefully next year we can come out on the better side of these results.
