…because sport matters
Tonight is our last summer beach training, before we return to the club nights.
Pool training starting next week on the 7th and 9th of September.
Congratulation to our club members who took part in our tweaked version of the Pier to Pier swim between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers.
The club is now closed for the Summer Holidays. We will return in September when the schools go back(We will update you closer to the date).
In the meantime, you can join us every Tuesday evening for some beach games and sea swim. (Please contact us for details and location).
Unless there is a change of plan, we should return to polo training for over 18s on Tuesday 18 May.
Timings etc will be much the same as when we last were able to operate:

Unless things change, the pool will reopen in April and club will re start on Tuesday 20 April FOR UNDER 18s ONLY.
Times and “Bubbles” will be circulated closer to the date.
If we anticipate that those of you who were attending in December will be back and those that were waiting for things Covid to improve will still be absent we can work on allocating appropriate lanes and timesIf you have changed you mind about either attending or not attending please let us know.
Dave Bradley
Following the Government’s latest announcement, we are going to have to postpone our start date.
We will continue to monitor Government guidance and we will keep you informed with any development and news of a reopening date.
The pool is open and the water is warm (checked it myself today). So we are back in business on both Tuesdays AND Thursdays for the next two weeks, then a break for Christmas.
Times, Bubbles and Protocols are as before (remember the 2 metre rule!)
So the club nights are as follows.
Tuesday 8th December 7.30pm to 10pm
Tuesday 15 December 7.30pm to 10pm
Thursday 10 December 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Thursday 17 December 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
Dave Bradley
This Tuesday (3 November) will be as normal.
Thursdays are now finished until 2021 (we dont hire Thursdays in December).
If Lockdown finishes on 2 December, it means we have 2 Tuesday sessions in December (The 8th and 15th), that is provided the pool opens after lockdown finishes.
Will update everyone then.
The Swimming Club is returning on club nights. Starting week 8th and 10th of September.
Please have a look at the latest version of the “Protocols” that we must observe:
